| Description | The photographs include two photographs of drawings of Lambeth by Wenceslaus Hollar, 1638 (f. 4); heraldic glass in the Great Hall with a key (ff. 33-4); Archbishop and Mrs. Edith Davidson, [1928] (ff. 42-5); the grant of the Freedom of the City of Canterbury to Archbishop Davidson, 1928 (ff. 46-50). Other photographs are of the books given by Archbishop Arthur Michael Ramsey to the Pope on the occasion of his visit to Rome in 1966 (ff. 56-8); the Revd. Claude Jenkins, Lambeth Librarian (ff. 58-9); meetings at Lambeth of the committee for the revision of the Book of Common Prayer, c. 1927 (f. 60). The volume also contains photographs of the tombs of Archbishops of Canterbury and of the portraits in Lambeth Palace. |
