DescriptionGeorge Stradling, Dean of Chichester (from 1672 to 1688) v Thomas Briggs, LL.D (administrator of the goods of Margaret Thomas alias Briggs who was the widow and executrix of Lambrook Thomas, Dean of Chichester 1672) and Nathaniel Crew, Bishop of Durham (formerly Dean of Chichester 1669-71); dilapidations (will of Lambrook Thomas, late Dean).
Lambrocus or Lambrook Thomas (d.1672), sometimes recorded as Thomas Lambrook, was Stradling's predecessor as Dean of Chichester. On him, see the Cambridge alumni database.
AccessConditionsThe Library is unable to provide access to the Arches Bbb series at present because the records are in too poor a condition to produce for readers. The series is currently the subject of a conservation project designed to improve the records' condition and enable consultation. The work is generously funded by the National Manuscripts Conservation Trust.
