At the second meeting evidence was heard from Robert Stopford, Bishop of London; and John Tiarks, Bishop of Chelmsford.
At the third meeting evidence was heard from Dame Evelyn Sharp, Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Housing and Local Government; and Michael Gresford Jones, Bishop of St Albans with Miss E C Busby, Diocesan Secretary.
At the fourth meeting evidence was heard from Mr Robert Beloe, Lay Secretary to the Archbishop of Canterbury; Mr J F Hewitt, Appointment Secretary to the First Lord of the Treasury and Ecclesiastical Secretary to the Lord Chancellor; Mr J E MacColl, Diocese of London; and Mr M Chandler.
At the fifth meeting evidence was heard from Ronald Goodchild, Bishop of Kensington and Graham Leonard, Bishop of Willesden; Mr Robert Beloe; and Stanley Eley, Bishop of Gibraltar.
