At the second meeting evidence was heard from Robert Stopford, Bishop of London; and John Tiarks, Bishop of Chelmsford.

At the third meeting evidence was heard from Dame Evelyn Sharp, Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Housing and Local Government; and Michael Gresford Jones, Bishop of St Albans with Miss E C Busby, Diocesan Secretary.

At the fourth meeting evidence was heard from Mr Robert Beloe, Lay Secretary to the Archbishop of Canterbury; Mr J F Hewitt, Appointment Secretary to the First Lord of the Treasury and Ecclesiastical Secretary to the Lord Chancellor; Mr J E MacColl, Diocese of London; and Mr M Chandler.

At the fifth meeting evidence was heard from Ronald Goodchild, Bishop of Kensington and Graham Leonard, Bishop of Willesden; Mr Robert Beloe; and Stanley Eley, Bishop of Gibraltar.

At the sixth meeting evidence was heard from Michael Hodgins, Archdeacon of Hackney, Secretary to the London Diocesan Fund; Roderic Coote, Bishop of Fulham; and Lawrence Harland, Archdeacon of Rochester, Secretary Rochester Diocese.

At the seventh meeting evidence was heard from David Say, Bishop of Rochester; John Hughes, Bishop of Croydon; and the Rev Canon Eric Kemp.

At the eighth meeting evidence was heard from Anthony Tremlett, Bishop of Dover; Mr D M M Carey; Guy Mayfield, Archdeacon of Hastings.

At the ninth meeting evidence was heard from Mervyn Stockwood, Bishop of Southwark; Arthur Malcom Trustroe Eve, 1st Baron Silsoe.

At the tenth meeting evidence was heard from Bishop of Rochester; and the Rev Dr I Morgan, General Secretary to the London Mission Department of the Methodist Church.

At the twelfth meeting evidence was heard from William Gilpin, Bishop of Kingston.

At the thirteenth meeting evidence was heard from Harry Carpenter, Bishop of Oxford.

At the fiftheenth meeting evidence was heard from Bishop of London.
