Includes correspondence with the office of Basil Hume, Cardinal-Archbishop of Westminster, and others; copy of letter sent by Archbishop Runcie to Douglas Hurd, Home Secretary, supporting Hume's argument and voicing concerns over validity of the original convictions, and Hurd's reply; copies of letters sent by Hume to Hurd; two letters from members of the public.
