FindingAidsCatalogue description based on M. R. James, 'A Descriptive Catalogue of the Manuscripts in the Library of Lambeth Palace: The Mediaeval Manuscripts' (Cambridge, 1932)
PhysicalDescriptionVellum, 14 1/4 x 8 3/4, 35 lines to a page, in a fine bold round hand, characteristic as I think of the Lanthony books of this period.
Calf binding, pr. 4s.
Collation: a(2) 1(8) (1 and 4 mut.) 2(8)-29(8) 30(4) b(2).
CustodialHistoryI have no doubt that it is from Lanthony, judging by the writing. I think that the greater part of the headlines are in the hand of Morgan of Carmarthen.
In the Catalogue nos. 45-7 are Libri moralium Gregorii in tribus voluminibus magnis.
