ff. 1-16. 'About static medicine'. An English translation of the thesis submitted by Thomas Secker, afterwards Archbishop of Canterbury, for the degree of doctor of medicine at the University of Leiden in 1721. The translation is by Judith Phillips. Typescript.

ff. 17-27. 'Memorial on behalf of the clergy and congregations in Scotland adhering to the doctrine and worship of the United Church of England and Ireland'. An appeal to the archbishops and bishops of the Church of England to bring under their superintendence certain congregations in Scotland which considered themselves incompatible with the Scottish Episcopal Church. Signed by the clergy and representatives of St. Thomas', Edinburgh, and eight other congregations. N.d., [watermark 1855].
