Description'Some Memorandums concerning Bishop Hooper', consisting of a biography of George Hooper (1640-1727), Bishop of Bath and Wells, by his daughter Abigail, wife of John Prowse (d. 1710) (ff. 1-20v).
Transcription of biographical notes by his wife of Thomas Prowse (1708-67), only son of John and Abigail Prowse, who was M.P. for Somerset from 1740, including copies of letters by the Earl of Chatham, George Grenville and others (ff. 22-35). At ff. 35-7 are transcriptions of memorials to descendants of John Sharp, Archbishop of York, and other connections by marriage.
