Relates to the Convocation of Canterbury which opened on Monday 21 March 1715, in the absence through illness of Thomas Tenison, Archbishop of Canterbury. See Gerald Bray ed., 'Records of Convocation XI. Canterbury 1714-1760' (Boydell Press, 2006), p. 127 et seq.

ff. 3r-10v. A printed work: 'Forma precum in utraque domo Convocationis sive synodi praelatorum, et caeteri cleri, seu provincialis seu nationalis' (London, 1702). In this copy the publication date has been changed in manuscript from 1702 to 1714, and the prayers for the royal family amended in manuscript to take account of the death of Queen Anne and accession of George I in 1714. Printed pagination [ii] , 1-13.
