DescriptionA catalogue of the manuscripts in Lambeth Palace Library, in continuation of the catalogue by David Wilkins (LR/F/40). By Andrew Coltee Ducarel, Lambeth Librarian 1757-85.
The catalogue records MSS 889-1148. It was written up in 1763 and continued to at least 1777 (see the description of MS 1142 which is dated 1777). Earlier drafts by Ducarel, 1759-61, recording manuscripts not in Wilkins' catalogue, are in MS 1998.
The text is not in Ducarel's own hand, but the dedication at f. 4 has his signature.
Archbishop Secker paid Ducarel £4 14s 6d on 29 Sept 1763 for writing this catalogue (MS 1483 f.139).
