Harper had a transient ischaemic attack (TIA) or 'mini stroke' in Yugoslavia in April/May. He made a full recovery, but was off work for 4 months until September. The Singapore Consultation was the follow-up to the 'Nairobi tea party' that led eventually to the creation of ICCOWE.
Overseas visits to: Singapore (January), Germany (March), Finland (April), Yugoslavia (April/May), Paris, France (September), Switzerland (September), Strasbourg, France (September), USA/Canada (September/October) and Strasbourg, France (October).
Ministry took place at: Lewsey, Lewes, Coventry, Canterbury and Cobham.
