Harper spoke about 18 venues in the UK. Overseas trips were made to Denmark (March), India and Nepal (May-June), Rome (June) and October) and Belfast (November). The Rome visits were the start of the dialogue between the Charismatic/Pentecostal movements and the Roman Catholic Church which were to continue for 5 years. The Belfast visit coincided with the start of 'The Troubles' and involved offereing a post with the Fountain Trust to Tom Smail.
The highlight of this year was the Guildford conference in July. Conferences were also held at High Leigh, Ashburnham (where Graham Pulkington was a speaker) and Cober Hill.
