| Description | Series of records from parties and groups set up by BSR to look at particular issues over a defined length of time. In most instances the work of the Group would result in a Report to be presented to Synod and published.
The files typically include; correspondence regarding the establishment of the body and selection of individuals to be invited to join; correspondence between the members and the Party Secretary (generally the BSR Secretary) with much of this being in regard to material for inclusion in the report; minutes or aide memoires of meetings held by the group; papers and articles which were circulated to group members to provide background information on a the particular subject; news clippings carrying reports related to the subject under consideration (often pasted onto backing paper by the BSR Secretary) draft copies of reports; responses to the BSR reports.
Some of the Parties were established with other bodies, the Board of Education for instance. |
