TitleFees and Grants Sub Committee
AdminHistoryCreated to take over the work of the Building and Grants Committee (ACCM/GC), the Fees and Grants Sub Committee of the ACCM Finance Committee met 1970-1973 (although from 22 February 1972 it was called the Fees and Grants Committee). In September 1973 the Finance Committee and the Fees and Grants Committee were amalgamated to form the Finance, Fees and Grants Committee, though from May 1976 this was renamed simply the Finance and Grants Committee.

The Terms of Reference c1982 were;

1, To exercise, on behalf of the Council, financial responsibility for all departmental expenditure within the estimates approved by General Synod
2, To administer the Council's non-Synod funds.
3, To administer grants from the Central Fund for Ordination Candidates, the Lay Workers' Training Fund and certain other funds as required, and to approve for purposes of training grants the fees of the theological colleges and courses.
4, To consider and make arrangements for capital grants to colleges.

The committee had ten members and generally met 8 times per year, with five of the meetings spent in consideration of the fee application budgets from colleges and courses.

In July 1986 the committee was renamed the Finance Committee.
