Douglas, vicar of St. Luke, Camberwell, and honorary general secretary of the Church of England Council on Foreign Relations (1933-1945), concerning relations between the Church of England and the Eastern Orthodox Churches during the first half of the 20th century. Many of the papers relate to the period 1920-38, during much of which Douglas was editor of "The Christian East".
