CustodialHistoryFrom Lanthony: on the verso of f. 189 is an erasure:
Morganus canon de kermerd[en] and (xv): In hoc vol. cont. dydaschalon mag. hug. de s. victore
Item diuersi sermones
The name of Morgan and the writing of the xvth-cent. title fix the provenance to Lanthony, as in so many other cases.
It may be no. 221 in the catalogue: Didascalicon Hugonis, utilis quaternus.
At the top of f. 176a is written (xiii): Karissimo domino suo et amico d(no) W. Capellano de c[ra]deley (Cradley is near Hales-Owen in Worcestershire).
